President Biden says US troops would support Taiwan in China conflict

The US President says the United States would defend Taiwan in the event of an invasion by China.

In his most explicit statement so far on the issue, President Biden revealed that US forces would be used if necessary to hold back a Chinese attack.

It's a move analysts say could reveal a new direction in US strategy on Taiwan.
